3R News introduces audio-only for the audiophile

If you’re like most multitaskers, you can’t spend an inordinate time glued to the screen of your phone or tablet watching videos. 3R News has a viable option just for you. With the launch of our first audio-only file, you can get the latest news and still attack that daily to-do list while you listen.

As we prepare for the launch of our first 3RiversNews.com podcast, check out our first-ever audio-only file of a May 30 interview with Woody Smeck, superintendent of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. In this audio-only 3R News presentation, Superintendent Smeck reveals some little known details about his reassignments, the parks’ budget, and planned upgrades for visitor facilities.

There is no better context for understanding the road construction that has occurred on the Generals Highway for the past two decades. FYI: The next phase is scheduled to start Monday, July 8, on Wolverton Road in Sequoia and in the vicinity of The Wye in Kings Canyon National Park..

For the audiophile in you, now you can listen while you work.

In case you missed the video format, parts 1, 2, and 3 are here.

I assume the audio file here is the same as the video interviews posted earlier?

However, I would be interested in a new podcast of “Kaweah Country” news, hopefully in a downloadable form so I can listen from my iPhone on one of the (many) podcast apps.

    Good luck!
