Claude Gaetan Jean Paul Denis died suddenly on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. The former Three Rivers resident was 55.
A celebration of Claude’s life will be held today (Friday, May 29), 2 p.m., at St. Anthony Retreat, 43816 Sierra Drive, Three Rivers. A reception will immediately follow.
Claude was born in Montreal, Canada, on September 2, 1959. In 1964, he moved with his family to Los Angeles.
In 1982, Claude married the love of his life, Mary. They had two children together.
From 1989 to 2002, Claude and his family resided in Three Rivers. He worked for Three Rivers Disposal from 1989 to 1999. Since 2002, Claude and Mary have lived in Exeter.
Claude held multiple trucking jobs throughout his life and was an owner-operator of his own trucking company. He worked extremely hard all of his life.
Claude was a selfless man, loving husband, and terrific father. His outgoing nature always made others feel comfortable. He was an avid sports fan; football was his favorite.
Claude’s family will remember his love for life and huge heart. He made a tremendous impact on the lives of so many and will continue to as an organ donor.
Claude is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary, of Exeter; his children, Jen and Matthew; mom Jacqueline; his best little buddy, Nathan; and his siblings, Danny, Christine, Pete, and Clyde.
Claude was preceded in death by Jean Pierre, Bruce Duncan, and Edwina Zastrow.
