Damage control

The Kaweah Post Office sits in limbo after sustaining major damage when a drought-stricken oak branch pierced its roof on Monday, Sept. 21. On Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., a booth dedicated to the historic post office will be part of the Living History Day festivities at the Three Rivers Historical Museum. Post office memorabilia will be for sale and monetary donations accepted with proceeds being used for the restoration of one of the main visitor attractions in Three Rivers.
