Evacuation centers are available for humans, livestock, and pets

 

Woodlake Lions Rodeo grounds in Elderwood is available for large animals that are evacuated from the Three Rivers area due to the SQF Complex fire.

Temporary evacuation centers set

For those who are voluntarily evacuating from the South Fork canyon in Three Rivers, a temporary evacuation point has been set up at the Exeter Memorial Building, 324 N. Kaweah Ave. (Highway 65).

Red Cross staff and Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency Public Health, Behavioral Health, and Human Services personnel will be onsite. At this time, staff will be present until 8 p.m. daily or as needed. Anyone who needs a hotel room should call 1-800-Red-Cross and register as displaced due to the SQF Complex.

The. Woodlake Rodeo grounds, located at 19400 Avenue 398 (Elderwood area), will accept large animals being evacuated. The location will be staffed until 8 p.m. as needed.

For smaller domestic animals, the Tulare County Animal Shelter is housing animals, and staff are at the shelter at 14131 Ave. 256 in Visalia.

    If there is anyone needing help loading up or who needs a flat bed trailer or small utility trailer to evacuate 3R, please call Dr Rich’s office in The Exeter. We have access to at least 3 trailers of varying sizes.

    For anyone who is expecting a baby or has a baby, who wears up to a size 2 clothes, I have many boy and girl baby clothes for free. They are washed and sanitized. I am in SW Visalia and I will deliver them within 20 miles. Loretta Putney (559) 852-0650. God bless 🙏
