In these pandemic times, face masks are important

In these pandemic times

Hi Friends, In these pandemic times

I am over near Bishop. All the stores that are open have a “Wear A Mask” sign on their doors. Why the heck doesn’t Three Rivers? How hard is it? It doesn’t mean you are a Democrat. It means you are a considerate human being. In these pandemic times

This photo [above] was taken at the Sinclair gas station in Bishop. The signs are ubiquitous at open essential businesses here. In these pandemic times

    Hey Julie,
Thanks for stating what should be obvious to any responsible person who does not want to spread or get the covid-19 virus. Because you are away from here, you may not have seen that our District 1 supervisor Kuyler Crocker joined two other district supervisors to pass some questionable (Brown Law violations, etc) piece of “stuff”? I don’t even know what to call it. It allows Tulare County to open without even meeting the stage two criteria and fast forwarding through stage 3..

Yes, I sent a letter to Crocker yesterday. Of course there has been no response, and I understand that. He’s a pretty busy guy. Major newspapers all over the country have picked up on this story of the irresponsible behavior of Tulare County. And as you said Julie, it’s not political, and I say, “It’s merely our lives”..

We all want our town to open and be free again. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone out to get food at Sierra Subs. Great food, but especially in support. What do I see from the road? Mostly strangers without face cover and in small concentrated groups. My question to myself. Is it worth the risk to me? Of course not. But we were getting so much closer. Just a few weeks or more of being patient and we could have seen smart re-openings of all our businesses…….

Memorial Day weekend and the floodgates are open. Please all local businesses take very good care of yourselves this weekend. Have all of your employees wearing masks and better yet, make sure everyone entering your place of business is wearing a mask.

    Thank you.

    Hi Julie,
Thanks for the input. My feelings are simple, if you want my business wear a mask. I am a eighty year old person of risk and to me it means you could care less about me.

    Thank you.
