Local groups offer assistance to seniors during COVID-19 crisis

Aging in Community-Three Rivers and TRAction (Three Rivers Action group) are working together to create a phone buddy system to keep Three Rivers elders connected to a friendly community member. Volunteers will commit to touching base with homebound seniors on  a regular basis (if they want to be contacted).
Volunteers will also pick up and deliver groceries, mail, medications, and perform other errands as requested.
These Three Rivers volunteers are committed to lending their helping hands when assistance is needed during the COVID-19 outbreak. The free services include:

  • A telephone call to check in regularly
  • Transportation to medical appointments
  • Shop for essentials and home delivery
  • Pick up and deliver mail or medications

To request any or all of the above services, or if assistance is needed in a way not listed here, call (559) 465-4666.

What a wonderful thing you folks have developed in our little town. Remember I am here for driving. Stay sane. Stay calm. Stay healthy.
