Obituary | Clint Johnson: 1961 ~ 2019

Isaiah 40:31— “He shall mount up with wings like eagles”(safe in the arms of the Lord).

Clinton Calvin Johnson passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at his home in Visalia, California. He was 58.
The Johnson family will be hosting a get-together to celebrate Clint’s life and share stories on Saturday, Nov. 23, anytime between 1 and 4 p.m., at the Three Rivers home of his mother, Jill Johnson.
Clint was born September 10, 1961, in Torrance, California, to Cal and Jill Johnson. In 1965, he moved with his family to Three Rivers, Calif., where he was raised.
Clint was blessed with many adventurous talents. As a youngster, he and his dad had a hobby room to build remote-controlled model airplanes and gliders. It was here that his love for flying began and became his biggest passion. Clint Johnson
Clint received his private pilot’s license at the young age of 17. He enjoyed taking his friends and family on sightseeing flights accompanied by a few aerobatics.
At the age of 18, he received his scuba diving license. Over the years, he took many ocean dive trips.
Clint JohnsonClint was a great snow and water skier. People loved to watch him ski barefoot on Lake Kaweah.
Clint also had a love for music and enjoyed singing and playing his harmonica and guitar. 
Clint’s family and friends knew that what made him happiest was flying. He posted many photos and videos of his paragliding journeys on social media throughout the years, soaring high over Lake Kaweah and Three Rivers and sharing these bird’s-eye views. Clint was fearless and loved the adrenaline rush. Clint Johnson 
Clint loved his family very much and always showed it. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his mother, Jill, of Three Rivers; his brothers, Tyler Johnson and wife Teddi of Three Rivers, Tod Johnson and wife Joyce of Three Rivers, Ron of Portland, Oregon, and Craig of Newburg, Oregon; three nieces; five nephews; and his beloved dog, Hoover. Clint Johnson

    I’M SO SORRY JILL. YOU’VE CERTAINLY HAD YOUR SHARE THIS YEAR. I THINK OF MY JEFF EVERY SINGLE DAY. AND SIT ON HIS GRAVE A DOZEN TIMES A YEAR…BLESS YOUR FAMILY…
