On the rocks

A nonstop procession of visitors is observed at Tunnel Rock in Sequoia National Park during busy weekends. The visitor attraction was closed to vehicle traffic in 1995, but is now popular with pedestrians who scale the embankments to get to the top of the rock.

Tunnel Rock is located less than two miles from the Ash Mountain entrance station.
