Pamela Jean Clark of Fresno, a former resident of Three Rivers, died Sunday, May 21, 2017. She was 64.
Pam was born April 30, 1953, in Montebello, Calif., where she was raised and attended school. Pam lived in several places around California before ultimately settling in Fresno.
Pam worked for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks from the mid 1980s to the mid ‘90s. Her first assignment was working at Dorst Campground and she finished her career working in the law enforcement office at Ash Mountain headquarters.
Pam then went to the private sector and lived and worked along the Central Coast of California before returning to Visalia.
While in Three Rivers and the parks, Pam was the resident vocalist. She sang at many park employees’ weddings, celebrations, and funerals. She had been trained in opera and was to pursue a career in classical opera, but fell in love with country-western in her younger years and was lost to opera ever since.
Pam raised Friesian and Morgan horses, loved dogs, and always had too many cats that she tried her best to tend to.
