Presidents Day weekend was a busy one in Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Parks

The fast-moving blast of wintry weather that blew through Kaweah Country on Presidents Day produced powdery snow in the mountains and even a few flurries at the higher elevations of Three Rivers. This past week marked some record low temps for this this date in the Bay Area.

Three Rivers will remain blustery for the next 10 days with highs in the 50s and lows dipping down to the freezing mark. The next chance of rain and snow is Monday, Feb. 26.
