Roger Dale Fronce of Three Rivers died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, of COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). He was 76.
Roger was born August 26, 1938, in Omaha, Neb., to Donald and Betty Fronce. He was raised in Santa Rosa and San Francisco, graduating from San Francisco Polytechnic High School.
In 1976, he married his wife, Carolyn.
Roger was in the newspaper business for 25 years, retiring from the Santa Rosa Press Democrat in 2003.
Upon Roger’s retirement, he and Carolyn moved to Three Rivers. For the past 11 years, Roger enjoyed the Three Rivers lifestyle and community involvement and made many good friends.
He also enjoyed having the time to pursue his passion of restoring old cars.
Roger is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carolyn, of Three Rivers; five children, Sharon, Angela, Gina, Teara, and Rodney; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
