The natives are restless


FIRST PHOTO: There have been several mountain lion sightings in the Mineral King area of Sequoia National Park in the past few weeks so warning signs have been posted at trailheads. In addition, visitors to the area are also being asked to keep an eye out for rattlesnakes as a couple sightings of these venomous reptiles have occurred in the Atwell Mill area at 6,400 feet elevation.

SECOND PHOTO: Bears have been reported in Three Rivers this past week on Dinely Drive, Kaweah River Drive, upper Sierra Drive, and the Sierra King neighborhood off Mineral King Road.
