On Monday, May 4, 2020, just after 6 p.m., an argument occurred at a residence in the 40400 block of Cherokee Oaks Drive (near Highway 198) in Three Rivers. Here is the information that was provided by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office: Three Rivers man arrested

When TCSO deputies arrived at the scene, they contacted the victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. After examining the victim, whose identity was not released by TCSO, he was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia for treatment. (TCSO did not provide the reason for not releasing the victim’s identity.) Three Rivers man arrested

The suspect, who did not flee but remained at the scene, was detained by the deputies. After TCSO detectives questioned several witnesses, it was determined that Gregory Brombach, 68, of Three Rivers shot the victim after a verbal argument. (TCSO did not provide a reason for why the suspect allegedly shot the victim.)

Brombach was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for injuries sustained after a physical altercation with the victim. Brombach was subsequently booked at the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility, charged with assault with a deadly weapon and held on $50,000 bail. Three Rivers man arrested

    Something must have really ‘escalated’.

      I know the man as well, never seemed the violent type.

    Hard to say much without hearing more, that being said, unless it was at his home or he was afraid for his life it shows how everyone carrying could be less than safe.
