Tulare County offers virtual Town Hall to update COVID-19

The County of Tulare Board of Supervisors and Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency are hosting a virtual town hall meeting Tuesday evening, March 17, 2020, to share information about the new coronavirus.
The meeting is scheduled to take place from 7:00-8:00 p.m. It will be live-streamed online at https://tchhsa.org/ncov and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/TulareCountyHHSA/.
The Town Hall presenters for this one-hour live news special include Pete Vander Poel, Chairman of the Tulare County Board of Supervisors; Karen Elliott, Tulare County HHSA Public Health Director; and Dr. Sharon Minnick, Tulare County Public Health Epidemiologist.
Community members are invited to submit questions by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, by sending an email with the subject line of “TOWN HALL” to townhall@tularehhsa.org.
For Spanish speakers and community members who are unable to watch or listen to the broadcast, the broadcast will be posted online with closed-captioning and Spanish subtitles.
