After  a chance of scattered showers on Christmas Eve, the busy holiday period between Friday, Dec. 26, and Sunday, Jan. 4, looks dry and cool. Daytime high temperatures in Three Rivers should be right around 60 degrees with lows in the 30s.

Highs in the Giant Forest area and at Wuksachi should be in the mid-40s. Some snowplay areas may be found in the north-facing shady areas of the forest but the best snow is at higher elevations.

Be prepared for chilly temperatures and have Happy High Sierra Holidays!
