The 3.50 inches of rainfall recorded to date in Three Rivers continues to rank the current season among the driest ever recorded. Like last month, the end of February has the potential to produce some wet weather with February 28 and March 1 looking like rainy days. Forecasters expect more precipitation in the 60-day outlook than in the previous 90 days. Moisture will come more in the form of rainfall, heavy at times. Lake Kaweah is currently storing 15,000 acre feet or about eight percent of capacity.
