WEATHER WATCH: JULY 3, 2014

Last night (Thursday, July 2), the moon was full. The next full moon will also appear in July, brightening the night sky on July 31. When a month has two full moons, the second one is known as the Blue Moon. Blue Moons don’t happen often, only about once every three years.

A chance of thunderstorms continues through the weekend for the High Sierra.

And, remember: FIREWORKS ARE ILLEGAL in Three Rivers and in the adjacent mountains.
