Daytime highs in the 70s with sunny days are in the forecast through the weekend. On Monday, there is a chance for showers and snow in the mountains.
On Sunday, March 20, another .10 inch of rain was received. Four feet of snow remains in the Mineral King valley above 7,500 feet. The year-to-date rainfall total for Three Rivers is right at 20 inches, the 30-year norm.
Lake Kaweah storage is 67,738 acre feet, approximately 40 percent of capacity.
