WEATHER WATCH: MAY 8, 2015

 

Thursday’s wacky, chilly weather shows just how persnickety a frontal system can be during a drought. Some areas got intense downpours and snow showers while a few miles away it remained windy and dry. New, even more stringent statewide water restrictions should put an end to green lawns in most of California for this year. The Kaweah River flows have been dropping steadily since last Monday.
