WEATHER WATCH: November 13, 2015

The storms that swept through Kaweah Country (Monday-Tuesday) dumped more than one-half inch of rain in Three Rivers and several inches of snow in the high country. Chain control on Tuesday was at Eleven Range; park rangers are requiring that motorists traveling to Giant Forest carry chains at all times. The local season total of precipitation (Nov. 13) has already eclipsed six inches; that’s more than any early November in the past two decades. Next wet weather is in the Sunday forecast.
