WEATHER WATCH: September 11, 2015

Air quality alerts are being issued daily and expected to continue until low pressure returns to the region and allows the Rough Fire smoke to waft toward the east. Temperatures will hover around the century mark this weekend with some relief expected by midweek. Meteorologists are confident in their prediction of an El Nino fall and winter. If that excessive moisture reaches Central California, it will be none too soon. Then the talk can turn from fire to flooding, runoff, and soil erosion.
