Applying a balanced touch: Massage and bodywork as therapy

In this second installment of a two-part video series, Cindy Jordan of Balancing Touch Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in Three Rivers, applies her professional bodywork techniques to John Chappell, local resident and indoor-cycling instructor who teaches 10 one-hour classes per week, meaning it’s safe to say he has some fatigued muscles and inflammation. Applying a balanced touch

Cindy explains and demonstrates the benefits of adding blood flow and oxygen to an injury or area of inflammation. She is a Board-Certified and California State Licensed Massage Therapist/Bodyworker (BCTMB), Certified Zero Balancing Practitioner, and a Certified Prenatal and Perinatal Massage Therapist. She specializes in myofascial release, craniosacral and neuromuscular therapies.

With her extensive background in spinal diagnosis and treatment, Cindy explains how a properly aligned spine is key to overall body health and maintaining physicality. By interviewing and working carefully with each client, Cindy can develop a treatment and wellness plan for everyone.
