Sequoia Parks Conservancy has launched a new webcam at Lake Kaweah. The camera looks east across the lake to Tharps Peak and beyond to Case Mountain and Homer’s Nose. The webcam is the result of several months of planning and work between Sequoia Parks Conservancy and its partner at Lake Kaweah, the US Army Corps of Engineers. webcam offers Lake Kaweah views
“Over the past 15 years, the United States Army Corps of Engineers has been honored to have a cooperating association agreement with the Sequoia Parks Conservancy,” said Phil Deffenbaugh, park manager at Lake Kaweah. “Under this partnership, we have been able to develop the Kaweah Heritage Visitor Center, provide educational opportunities to thousands of visitors and students, and receive support for the Lake Kaweah Natural Resources program. The new webcam is a great resource for the surrounding communities and visitors. We are grateful for the support of Sequoia Parks Conservancy.” webcam offers Lake Kaweah views
