On Wednesday, December 11, the Tulare County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Special Use Permit No. PSP 19-019 Redwood Ranch. The applicant for the project is Michael Cannarozzi of Three Rivers.

RMA planning staff is seeking approval for a Categorical Exemption and conditional approval of a Special Use Permit for a Guest Ranch and Assemblages of People, on 2.5 acres of a 190-acre property, located in the AF (Foothill Agricultural) Zone. The site is located on South Fork Drive, approximately eight miles from Highway 198/Three Rivers. you need to know

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 2800 West Burrel Avenue, Visalia, Calif. you need to know

Race for District 1 Supervisor

With the early filing deadline (December 6, 2019) for candidates to run in the March 3 primary, three candidates have qualified and are vying for the seat currently held by the incumbent Kuyler Crocker. Crocker who was elected in 2016, will face off against Larry Micari, and Robyn Stearns, both who live in the Exeter portion of District 1.

Crocker, a Strathmore native who tends the family’s citrus acreage, is currently the chair of the Tulare County Board of Supervisors.  Micari, a retired Captain from the the Tulare County Sherrif’s Department, worked 33 years in law enforcement. Robyn Stearns is a former mayor and council member in Exeter, and recently has worked as a realtor. you need to know
